On Saturday 29th August, Tyler, The Creator became the first artist to headline a second night at All Points East. It was a show-stopping performance as he brought A$AP Rocky and Rex Orange County on stage.
The East Stage he performed on was decorated as a fictional Victoria Park Tube station and Hackney Wick.
Tyler, The Creator’s Set
Tyler, The Creator’s exciting performance incited infectious energy among the crowd, as he delivered hit after hit. Because of his signature animated style, stunning pyrotechnics and guest performers, it was definitely a historic day to remember.
He launched the show with ‘Big Poe’ and ‘St. Chroma’, then massive worldwide hits including ‘Are We Still Friends?’ and ‘Sugar On My Tongue’.
Rex Orange County joined the star for an emotive ‘Boredom’, and then it was the turn of A$AP Rocky to walk down the runway with his friend for a manic ‘Who Dat Boy’.
A hymnal singalong to ‘Like Him,’ from the Grammy-winning CHROMAKOPIA, was followed by ‘NEW MAGIC WAND,’the explosive centrepiece of IGOR. Then, the audience loudly sang along to ‘See You Again,’ one of the defining songs from Flower Boy. These three songs across three hugely influential albums proves he is an artist at the top of his game.
Who Also Performed?
The voice of Daniel Caesar brought melodic bliss to the East Stage amidst the lively crowd. He delivered modern classics including ‘Rain Down’ and a cover of Jimmy Cliff’s ‘Many Rivers To Cross’.
Baby Keem, heavyweight rapper, took to the sunken casino stage set, referencing the success of this year’s Ca$ino album.
At the North Stage, Mustard brought an electric set of his signature “ratchet music”. Meanwhile the maverick Dijon led his band and fans through hits from ‘Yamaha’ to ‘Talk Down’ on the East.
Faye Webster, one of the classiest songwriters around, performed ‘Thinking About You’ from her 2024 Underdressed at the Symphony. The audience hung on every word, with phones in the air for ‘Lego Ring’ as they sang every word of ‘Johnny’ and ‘Kingston’.
On the North Stage, Jim Legxacy played to an absolutely packed tent. He said: “I cannot believe how many people are here. I’m grateful to be sharing this moment with you guys. Funnily enough, I’ve never actually been to a festival before. This is my first time going to a festival so you lot are etched in my memory now.”
Equally populer Denzel Curry & Kenny Beats played to a massive audience on the West Stage, while Syd swept onto the East Stage with a set including the Disclosure track ‘Birthday’, on which she featured.
Earlier in the day, fans were treated to performances from artists including Danny Brown, Khamari and Quadeca.
London artist Natanya, who has already been backed by Tyler himself, put on a captivating performance on the X Stage, and US rising star Samara Cyn packed out an energised North Stage.

All Points East has become the essential London event since its inception six years ago. The quality of artists runs very deep across the days with established names and those on the cusp of stardom entertaining crowds. 2023 welcomed stunning headline sets from a series of world-class artists across two weekends of shows, including Stormzy, The Strokes, Jungle, Dermot Kennedy and HAIM, plus a host of midweek activities, including the FIFA Women’s World Cup Final.
All Points East is the most anticipated London event since its start six years ago. Year after year it showcases established names and rising stars to entertain tens of thousands attendees.
In 2019, the festival won “Festival Of The Year” from Q Magazine and “Best Festival” at the Music Week Awards. It is hosted in East London’s Victoria Park in Tower Hamlets, also hosting a hugely popular community-focused event. In The Neighbourhood is a vibrant programme in collaboration with Tower Hamlets Council, with activities for everyone. Past activities included creative workshops, yoga sessions, street food, and themed drag shows.
Local businesses are given opportunities to provide food, drink, merchandise and more, meaning the local community benefits as much as possible.
All Points East is also committed to sustainability and accessibility. It has been awardedGold on Attitude is Everything’s Charter of Best Practice for our commitment to Deaf and disabled music fans. It also works with local charity Tower Project annually to give volunteer opportunities to young people with learning disabilities and autism on site at the festival. The festival is committed to 100% renewable energy and is working towards eliminating single-use plastics
