Hailing from Sacramento to perform at London’s Victoria Park, alternative metal icons Deftones brought chaos to Outbreak Fest presented by All Points East.

Deftones headlined Sunday 23rd August, with a 95 minute set which covered over three decades of world-renowned alternative music. They played tracks from their 1995 debut album Adrenaline to their latest 2025 Private Music to an enthralled 50,000 crowd.
“What a fucking wonderful day today. So much good music, so many beautiful faces. And it’s Sunday night, go figure. You guys are awesome, thank you so much”, said frontman Chino Moreno.
Bristol post-punk icons IDLES returned to London after 2 years and brought a rowdy atmosphere while fusing introspection and confrontation. The East Stage hosted pub rock stars Amyl & The Sniffers, who raised dust clouds into the sky.
Elsewhere, the biggest international Scouse artist EsDeeKid performed at the North Arena and caused a frenzy. He brought Rico Ace onstage on top of a castle, performing together “LV Sandals” to a chaotic crowd singing along. Rap artist, producer, and cultural disruptor JPEGMAFIA, who brought chaos to a large crowd at the East Stage.
Representing electronic music, witch house pioneers SALEM returned to London after 15 years, releasing a literal snowstorm and a unique visual display. ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, the multi-genre Japanese selector brought ruckus to the festival’s early evening slot. He was followed by Blawan, the UK electronic experimentalist who presented an explosive set on the X Stage.
Outbreak Fest had an electric energy from the beginning of the day with artists like Show Me The Body, Basement, Deafheaven, and Mannequin Pussy. There was also new alternative music from the likes of Overgrown, VILLANELLE, Reclus.É and Eternal Rin, that drew packed crowds across multiple stages.
Eternal Rin said, “Thank you so much for letting me take you on a journey this afternoon. To be at this festival, on this line up, and have so many of you here with me, blows me away.”
Deftones’ headline was historic for all bands on the line up and those in attendance. All Points East continues from Friday 28th, with Tyler The Creator headlining for two days. Twenty One Pilots will close out two triumphant weekends of contemporary music on 30th August in London’s East End.

Outbreak Fest is devoted to underground music’s booming counterculture and ran its first year at All Points East’s 2026 programme. Organisers curated a one-day celebration of boundary-pushing sounds across the genre binary in all forms. Manchester-based Outbreak Fest is a 15-year-running festival that is the premier event within the UK’s thriving counterculture. Launching as home to hardcore, punk, and metal, it has broadened to also host emerging names in hip hop, indie, emo, and more.
Lido Festival takes place on Bank Holiday Monday (31 August) with headliner Maribou State.

All Points East is also committed to sustainability and accessibility. It has been awarded Gold on Attitude is Everything’s Charter of Best Practice for our commitment to Deaf and disabled music fans. It also works with local charity Tower Project annually to give volunteer opportunities to young people with learning disabilities and autism on site at the festival. The festival is committed to 100% renewable energy and is working towards eliminating single-use plastics.
