The first “Meta-Marriage” event in the United States took place
back in February via Decentraland, a 3D virtual browser-based platform.
The event drew close to 2,000 virtual guests. The ceremony included
Non-Fungible Token (NFT) wedding favors, a special virtual setting, and
a virtual prenuptial agreement.
