On Valentine’s Day of 2025, the Canadian megastars, Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR released a special joint album for their fans called ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’. This joint album is a 21 song track list filled with a range of sultry, soulful and passionate songs. The themes of romance, passion, lust and love are explored throughout each song. Drake & PND demonstrated their musical versatility throughout each song and gave fans a real “lovers” sound.
$ome $exy $ongs 4 U is Drake’s first full album since his successful 2023’s For All the Dogs, which was at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for two weeks. PND’s last album release ‘ PARTYNEXTDOOR P4’ which was released April 2024 was also a major success. PARTYNEXTDOOR P4 was No. 10 on the Billboard 200 and moving 37,000 copies worldwide in its first week. Over the years, the duo have demonstrated their powerful chemistry on tracks like “Come and See Me,” “Recognize,” “Loyal,” and many more. Since the dynamic pair’s new album release, it has already broken the record for the biggest R&B/soul album in Apple Music’s history by first-day streams worldwide.
This was definitely a beautiful Valentine’s Day gift to both Drake and PND fan’s and a great start to the R&B/Soul albums of 2025.
