London native Tom Holland will be returning to the stage later this year in the Jamie Lloyd Company production of Romeo and Juliet where he will play Romeo Montague in the Shakespearean tragedy.

The new role is a full circle moment for the 27-year-old Hollywood star, for it was on the stage where Holland’s illustrious acting career began in 2008 as he starred in Billy Elliot the Musical.

Romeo and Juliet will run in the West End at the Duke of York’s Theatre from May 11th to August 3rd. General booking opens to the public on February 13th at 12pm, and announcements regarding the actors set to join Holland on stage can be expected this coming spring.
