iGaming experts at Betmaster recently conducted an AI-powered analysis of the most popular contemporary sports stars, including current frontrunners for the 2024 Sports Personality of the Year.
Using an attractiveness test, the athletes with the highest score out of 10 have been named the biggest heartthrobs.
The big winner
Keely Hodgkinson has been crowned the most attractive sports personality in the UK and Ireland.
The 22-year-old 800m star, who took home Olympic gold in Paris this year, earned a stunning 9.15 out of 10 on the attractiveness scale.
Based in Wigan, Hodgkinson has also made history as the youngest British athlete to secure a European Indoor gold medal.

With a final score of 8.61 out of 10, the Olympic diver has captivated the nation’s hearts since his debut at the Beijing 2008 Games.
Daley has since won gold, silver, and three bronze medals for Great Britain.
Gareth Bale, the former Wales national team captain and winger for Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid, has been ranked the third most attractive athlete.
With a final score of 8.49 out of 10, Bale not only leads the pack of footballers, but also stands out as the most attractive Welsh sports personality.
Just outside of the top three
Arsenal’s Declan Rice, a defensive midfielder born in Kingston upon Thames, follows in fourth place.
According to the study, Rice has a final attractiveness score of 8.29 out of 10.
He was awarded Premier League Player of the Year in February at the 2024 London Football Awards.
Lewis Hamilton, the reigning Formula One champion, has secured fifth place on the list with a final score of 8.26 out of 10.
Holding the record for most race wins in Formula One history, Hamilton is now set to make a high-profile move from Mercedes to Ferrari in 2025.
Completing the top ten are Jude Bellingham with an attractiveness score of 7.99, followed by Ellie Simmonds at 7.94, Bryony Page with 7.90, Anthony Joshua scoring 7.89, and Jos Buttler rounding off the list with 7.84.
