Here at The Beat, we love discovering new music you can shop to, shower with, and drive to. We’ve assembled a list of our favorite songs right now on repeat at The Beat 103.6 FM with a little context about the song and the artist.

4. Starting off we have Flo’s ‘Fly girl’. Although technically the song is not out yet with previews on their Instagram, TikTok always finds a way we’ve heard snippets and we are already in love. We can’t wait to have the song on repeat. A bit about the trio; they are an RnB girl group that was formed in 2019 consisting of Stella Quaresma, Jorja Douglas, and Renee Downer. Stella and Renee have known each other since school and came across Jorja on social media. Since then they have been topping the charts worldwide, making their debut performance on Jimmy Kimmel.

3. Next up we have West London’s Digga D with ‘Energy’. We at The Beat love this song because it shows just how versatile Digga D can be. From songs like ‘Chief Rhys freestyle’, ‘Wasted’ and ‘Woi’ his palette is diverse, and the newest to the list is ‘Energy’. It’s definitely one of his more chill songs, with the music video being a montage of the artist’s life such as his travels, studio life, and fan interaction. More about the artist, born as Rhys Angelo Emile Herbert rose to fame back in 2017 on his ‘Next up ‘freestyle on Mixtape madness. The following year he topped the charts with his single ‘No diet’ which has accumulated 29 million views on YouTube.

2. Already halfway on the list, we have breakout artist, Strandz with his single ‘Us against the world’ ft Digga D. From Croydon in South London, Strandz is receiving a lot of praise and recognition being labeled as the ‘next star’ to come out of South London. He gained a lot of popularity with the song on TikTok going viral posting videos of him and his girlfriend to who he has dedicated the song. Keep an eye out on his Instagram, as he posts previews of his upcoming tracks which we are excited to play here at The Beat.

1. And finally our top song of the month, ’22’ by JayO. This one has been on repeat non-stop here at The Beat. South East London born and bred JayO has had the UK on Lock with this single and his previous single ‘XO’ we’re excited to see what’s to come from him. Definitely one to look out for, we can’t wait for the UnBeatable summer bangers.
