The Beat London attended a private screening of the latest film in the Creed franchise – which comes out on March 3rd. Warner Bros invited us down to Cineworld in Leicester Square to be one of the first people to see the film, and they did not disappoint!
People lined up with enthusiasm from the entrance all the way down to Leicester Square in anticipation. There was a buzz in the atmosphere about what to expect and people were engaged in discussions, recounting what happened in the previous films to prepare themselves for the latest installment. Here at At the Beat London, we are big fans of Creed and so when I (Raiessa) was tapped to go and cover the screening, I was super pumped. At the venue, I was able to speak to people in the queue and we discussed how Micheal B. Jordan was the perfect actor to play the role of Adonis Creed and what our predictions were. Upon arrival to the screening, there were snacks and refreshments for us all while we waited for the film to begin.

We were greeted by a representative of Warner bros, who thanked us all for coming, and then the magic began.
If you are going to watch Creed you definitely need to watch it in IMAX because the experience was phenomenal – the colors came to life, and the definition made it so realistic it felt like you were there in the ring with them watching the fight. The multiple storylines allow for each viewer to relate with the character and resonate with their journey throughout the film. It becomes more than just a boxing film but tells the tale of friendship, regret, and survival all the things people go through. And so, regardless of whether you are into boxing or not, this film is one you can definitely connect with.
