The girl group from London are due to begin their biggest tour yet across the UK and Europe.

The iconic trio, Sugababes are gearing up to start their arena tour tonight starting in First Direct Arena in Leeds! Founding members Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy are making a comeback, performing a mixture of their most popular hits such as crowd pleaser ‘Push The Button’, number 1 singles ‘About You Now’ and ‘Round Round’, and songs from their debut album such as their launch single ‘Overload’.

Sugababes are known for their water tight harmonies and song writing earworms, but they have been notorious for rotating members. Donaghy left the band in 2001, quickly being replaced by Heidi Range. Their first release under the second iteration, ‘Freak Like Me’ (a cover of Adina Howard’s staple hit) charted at #1. In 2005, Buena departed and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Following two albums from the third iteration, Buchanan was famously removed and replaced by Eurovision Song Contest’s Jade Ewen in 2009.

Following their disbandment in 2011, the originals fought and successfully claimed back their name, after re-grouping under the moniker ‘Mutya Keisha Siobhan’. They have then gone on to perform at festival circuits, shutting down Glastonbury stages in 2022 and 2024!

The trio are now releasing new songs ahead of the tour. Pop-garage anthem ‘Jungle’ was a welcome surprise to the fans and today they have dropped a new ballad, ‘Weeds’.

You can find the legendary girl group on tour in the following cities in April and May:

Leeds, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Cologne, Berlin, Paris, Zurich and Milan.

We at The Beat 103.6FM are super excited to see the girls on tour!
