The superstar took home the award on a night that saw Charlie XCX leave with five of her own BRITs. 

Stormzy won rap artist of the year at the 2025 BRIT Awards at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday night. The artist, who only released one song in 2024 however, chose to acknowledge Central Cee in his acceptance speech, noting that he felt the artist deserved to win the award in his stead. 

The night also saw Charlie XCX dominate the awards, taking home five wins including Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Artist of the year.
