Grime music legend, Joseph Adenuga aka Skepta, this week celebrated releasing his first movie, ‘Tribal Mark’.

Skepta is inspired to create this movie after he “got bored of talks on who was going to play the black James Bond”.

The movie revolves around a young Nigerian Immigrant who moves to England attempting to navigate his new surroundings and culture.  

He goes on to say that the main characters dissociation was something he could relate to having been the child of Nigerian Immigrants and feels that other immigrants would have a similar understanding

Celebrities at the red carpet premier of ‘Tribal Mark’ included actors Idris Elba and Lexie Coons, with Boxer Dereck Chisora also in attendance.

Skepta and his team make note that this production involves the largest use of an ethnic minority cast and crew ever in British film history with over 85per cent.

The short movie stars Jude Carmichael, Gabriel Kwasi Tedeku and Skepta.
