A new Film based in South East London Peckham, called Rye Lane has the people really excited and smitten by this new rom-com.

A memorable day in South London brings together two young people who are still hurting from traumatic breakups. The gender-neutral restroom of an art gallery (“Of all the toilets in all of London”), where he is sobbing uncontrollably after breaking up with his girlfriend Gia, rising talents Vivian Oparah and David Jonsson play Yas and Dom, two young guns who meet-cute (Karene Peter).
Dom is introduced to us as he cries longingly in a lavatory. Gia (Karene Peter), with whom he had a six-year relationship, broke up with him in favour of his idealistic best friend Eric (Benjamin Sarpong-Broni), leaving him in grief. Dom is forced to move back in with his parents, where he plays video games and eats his mother’s constant deliveries of boiled eggs and bread, leaving him feeling depressed and abandoned. Yas and her pretentious killjoy artist ex-boyfriend are currently on bad terms as well. Both his failure to return tourist waves and his nasty retention of her priceless copy of The Low End Theory (which he doesn’t even like) after their separation show how self-absorbed he is.
With high ratings this film has captivated many viewers from London as this story unfolds in a romantic/comedic outcome. Watching this film you will laugh, smile, sigh and more as this film takes you through a wave of emotions. Highly recommended!
