Singer-songwriter Raye made history on Saturday as the first musician in BRITs history to take home six awards in a single night at the 2024 ceremony, beating Adele and Harry Styles’ record of four. 

The ‘Escapism’ star became a record breaker in more ways than one, also becoming the first female artist to win Songwriter of the Year. She also bagged Best New Artist and Best R&B Act as well as Artist, Album and Song of the Year on the night. 

The accolades follow her already record-breaking status, as she received seven BRIT nominations – the most in BRIT Award history – ahead of the ceremony. Her six wins put her alongside legends Michael Jackson and Oasis as each received the same amount throughout their careers. 

She returns to the O2 Arena on March 15, where she will perform a sold-out show for 20,000 fans.
