It’s New Music Friday and here are some of our favourite picks to get you in the Friday mood!

1. Drake & Central Cee – Which One

Drake has dropped a new single with rapper of the moment Central Cee. The bouncey tune that switches up the gears half way talks about the pair singling out a love interest amongst their friendship group, stating ““You’re not like the tings you’re around”.

2. Tyler, The Creator – Ring Ring Ring

Tyler’s music has certainly evolved since his debut with ‘Yonkers’. His latest single ‘Ring Ring Ring’ hailing from his new album ‘Don’t Tap The Glass’ is a funky number, produced by Tyler himself. This one is about longing for a girl he has broken up with. Maybe she’ll pick up the phone?

3. Dennis Ferrer, Girls of the Internet & Anelisa Lamola

House legend Dennis Ferrer has just released a remix of Girls of the Internet and Anelisa Lamola’s single, ‘Affirmations’. This takes the track into a deep house realm. Lamola’s vocals sound right at home on this new take, with a soulful vocal delivery exclaiming “I won’t live my life that way / Your love is testing me and I ain’t got nothing left”

4. Mnelia – Brozone

We have all been friend zoned once in our life, but what about Brozone? The smooth sassy number sees Mnelia sings about moving a potential into the Brozone. Mnelia continues to release solid UK R&B tracks, further solidifying herself in the scene!

5. Amaarae

Black Star songstress Amaarae has just dropped single ‘Girlie Pop!’ from her upcoming album. Featuring her signature vocals over an afro jersey beat, she glides over the song singing about daydreaming over a crush!

6. Mabel

UK Pop star Mabel has released a self titled mixtape featuring 9 tracks. Turn Me Up sees Mabel sing about a lover turning her on and coming back for more. This slow jam number is lifted by a grungy electric guitar.
