Twitter Inc. announced it will start testing the ability for users to
edit their own tweets in the coming months, a feature the company said
it has been working on since last year. Twitter’s head of consumer
products, Jay Sullivan, said while users want the edit button to fix
typos and other errors, it could be used to alter public conversations
so he said testing will require “care and thoughtfulness.”
