‘Bass Persuades’, Miley Cyrus’ new album endures one of the most unparalled declines in Music Chart History.

This marks Miley’s first chart topping album since 2013’s Bangerz on the Billboard 200. The brand new LP debuted at No.1 last week. However, just one week later, Bass Persuades topples from No.1, nose-diving to a staggering #157.

The 33 year old’s latest LP took one of the biggest falls in album chart history by a female artist. The only other rival is Bon Jovi’s 2018 Album, ‘This House is Not For Sale’, which exceeded this by dropping from No.1 to No. 169 during it’s second week.

The album generated a successful lead single, though Bass Persuades will likely meet the same fate, as it out- charted every song on Something Beautiful.

Two major shows with Miley later this month are set to hit Hollywood Bowl. Can the live push help give the era another life? All eyes will be on Miley.
