No matter what Meghan Markle does, Royal fans will always call for her to be ‘stripped of her title’ and this latest development is no exception. What is deemed to be a harmless fun video between Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, has now turned in to a hate train.
The pair posted a video dancing around to “The Baby Momma Dance” by Starrkeisha in a hospital room when pregnant with the couples second child, Lilibet. The Duchess of Sussex is seen glowing in a black dress, her natural hair out and cannulas in her hand, while Prince Harry opted for a grey hoodie and jeans. The unproblematic couple were enjoying a beautiful moment together giving us their best dance moves.
Mothers-to-be have always tried several tricks to induce labor. Eating spicy food, hot baths and dancing are one of the few practices pregnant women try to get the baby to come. However, several fans of the Royal family who have long disliked Markle for reasons subjective have had their say. The Mail’s Royal Expert Richard Edan has called the act “undignified”. “What’s important for the Royal Family is dignity. I think you do have to maintain some dignity and decorum.” Fans have also been calling her baby bump “fake” as she has padding over her very real baby bump.
However, speaking of that moment in his auto biography ‘Spare’, Prince Harry has said “We ate and ate and then did the Baby Mama dance around the hospital room.” He also wrote that it was “Nothing but joy and love in that room.”
Unfortunately, no matter what Meghan does, she will be vilified left right and centre. Pregnancy is supposed to be joyous, bringing a miracle to the world. During this time women can be quite vulnerable and hormonal, so a lot of support and nurturing should be given. Apparently it doesn’t apply to the Duchess of Sussex!
