The release marks the late rappers second posthumous album after his tragic passing in 2018.
Mac Miller’s new album, ‘Balloonerism’ was finally released to excited fans on Friday 17th January. The 14 track LP is the second posthumous album release for the late rapper since he passed away in 2018 from an accidental overdose, with the first being his album ‘Circles’. Despite this being a second posthumous album, the entire project was actually created over a decade ago, recorded between 2013 and 2014.
The album was released alongside a film created by Samuel Jerome Mason, with the animated film playing in select cities ahead of the album releasing on Friday. The film is now available on Amazon Prime. The full album is available to stream on all DSPs now.
