The Met Gala is one of the biggest red carpet events  that model off all different designers. 

It started in 1948 and it was created by Eleanor Lambert, a legendary fashion publcist. She originally created the event to raise money for smaller newly established costume designers and ever since then it has gotten bigger and better. 

Every year at the Met Gala we witness some outstanding models, singers, athletes, actors and rappers all get glammed up to walk the red carpet. This year we witnessed Kim Kardashian, Hailey Bieber, Serena Williams , Asap Rocky , Coco Jones , Central C, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii plus so much more. To be a part of the event you have got to be invited by another costume designer to model their clothing. Designers such as Louis Vuitton, Ferragamo, Burberry, Thom Browne and so many more outstanding designers in one room.  As do most big events  The Met Gala has always got  a theme every year  back in 2023 the theme was a line of beauty, 2024 sleeping beauties: Reawakening Fashion and most importantly 2025 Superfine:Tailoring Black Style.   

We have witnessed some out of the outbox costumes, suited and booted suits, fancy hats and some mind changing face masks. 

Not only is the event all about posing at your best angles to give the camera everything they need to see but they also have an outstanding dinner party to celebrate all of the years at The Met Gala.  The dinner needed to be in the same league as the fashion fine and unbeatable. However after a excellent red carpet walk and a first class served dinner they got to enjoy a show from two extraordinary artist Stevie Wonder and Usher just to finish off a never forgetful night. 

A night full of fashion, beauty, designers and camera’s all in one room equals a fantastic night and us at the beat london can not wait to see what costumes we witness next year.
