The dynamic UK Rap duo, Krept & Konan have finally released their 4th studio album ‘Young Kingz 2’ on the 7th February 2025. It has been 5 years since their last album release, ‘Revenge Is Sweet’ which was a huge success and produced amazing hits like ‘G Love’ and ‘I Spy’. The duo are once again independent and released this album on their label‘ Play Dirty’.
‘Young Kingz 2’ is a development of Krept & Konan’s 2013 ‘Young Kingz ‘mixtape and definitely highlights the pair’s growth.

Within this new album, different themes are explored throughout the 18 songs including themes of family, love, pain, money and lust. The ‘Freak of the week’ rappers teamed up with an array of artists on Young Kingz 2, including Popcaan, Sizzla, Chip, Potta Payper and many more. 

On the 6th February 2025, the successful rap duo released the music video for one of the songs from the new album, ’Kilimanjaro’ which features Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Oxlade. ‘Kilimanjaro’ explores the theme of love, lust and having a great time. The song marries both the angelic vocals and melodies of Oxlade with Krept & Konan’s upbeat rhymes and flows. The song is certainly a club banger which gives a fun and flirty early summer feel.
