You may recognise this 15 year old from the award winning Netflix series, Adolescence. The star, Owen Cooper, 14 at the time of filming is now not only recognised as an actor but the youngest male in history to take home an Emmy Award.

The 2025 Emmy Awards took place on 14th September in Downtown Los Angeles.

The series Adolescence created global buzz and conversations around the relationship between an online “incel”. This debut role has allowed Owen to gain global recognition, creating new opportunities for filming up and coming projects. Adolescence has really furthered the 15 year olds acting career.

Owen wasn’t the only one taking the trophy home from the Netflix series. Adolescence also won Best Limited Series, Best Directing, Best Writing, Best Actor in a Limited Series for Graham and Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series for Erin Doherty.
