Over the weekend history was made in Britain’s Got Talent. For the first time, the golden buzzer was pushed mid-performance, creating a cinematic performance. Ugandan dance group by name of ‘Ghetto Kids’ Stole the hearts of thousands with their heartfelt story and amazing performance. Formerly known as ‘Triplets Ghetto Kids’ the group is composed of children from the Katwe slums in Kampala, Uganda. It was founded in 2014 by Daouda Kavuma; beginning as an escape for the children who lived in the orphanage as a way to see the brighter side of life.

Appearing on major platforms all over the world such as French Montanna and Swae Lee’s ‘Unforgettable’ They have over 3.7 million on Instagram and that number is expected to grow as they have secured a place in the semi-finals of Britina’s got talent.
The performance started with 5 of the 6 dancing in traditional attire and afro beats, synchronized choreography, and then switching genres to reggaeton which had the judges up on their feet dancing alongside them. A surprise appearance from the sixth member sent the audience into a frenzy which is when Judge Bruno Tonioli slammed the golden buzzer, sending confetti flying everywhere, and the crowd into celebration and cheers.
