Fatman Scoop, born Isaac Freeman III, passed away at 56 after collapsing on stage during a performance in Connecticut on August 30. He was rushed to a hospital but later passed away. The cause of death was hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, and his death was ruled as natural, according to Connecticut’s chief medical examiner.

Known for his 2003 UK chart-topping hit “Be Faithful,” Scoop also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2015. His family described him as “a radiant soul, a beacon of light on the stage and in life.” Fatman Scoop was a beloved performer, father, brother, and friend.
