Twitter said it offered Elon Musk, Tesla Inc. chief executive and new
largest shareholder, a seat on its board of directors, a position Musk
said he will use to make “significant improvements” to the platform. A
source familiar with the situation said Musk will be involved in
strategic decisions, like adding an edit button and the company’s
Bluesky initiative, but will not have influence on content moderation or
the restoration of certain accounts, a policy that applies to all board
members.
