Eddie Kadi and Indiyah Polack to host the 2025 MOBO Awards

Scheduled to take place on 18th February 2025, located at the Utility Arena in Newcastle. The organisation was thrilled to to announce comedian and presenter Eddie Kadi as well as Love Island finalist Indiyah Polack to be the official hosts of the 2025 MOBO Awards 

Indiyah is set to host the MOBOS for her second year running, since she made such an impression hosting the previous year awards. Meanwhile, Eddie takes the stage being familiar to millions of BBC viewers from his stint on Strictly as well as touring as a host with the likes of Burna Boy, Lauryn Hill and Wizkid.

Indiyah is over the moon to be co-hosting the awards, sharing enthusiasm when the news broke stating, 

ā€œIā€™m so excited to be back co-hosting the MOBO Awards for the second year. We’re going to bring a show like no other before to Newcastle, celebrating the richness of black music and culture. You can expect some incredible red carpet looks, amazing live performances and of course, great vibes from Eddie and I!ā€ 

The MOBO Awards (Music of Black Origin), was held for the first time in 2009, in Glasgow. Its main goal is to honour the achievements in music of black origin, including genres such as R&B, Reggae, Hiphop, Soul, Jazz, Gospel and African Music.

The excitement is starting to build up for the show, which will be live-streamed globally at 8pm GMT February 18th, on youtube. As well as an exclusive BBC 1 Broadcast special on February 21st.
