Toronto police have reported that a security guard was shot outside Canadian rapper Drake’s Park Lane Circle mansion early Tuesday morning.

Witnesses reported that the victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the chest. Despite video footage of the incident, police have withheld information due to quality concerns. There is no indication that Drake, who is currently involved in a highly publicised rap feud with Kendrick Lamar, was the intended target. 

In the past month, the rap titans have traded lyrical insults aimed at each other’s families, backgrounds, careers and lifestyles. However, police caution that it’s too early in the investigation to determine motive.
