Drake takes over Wireless 2025

On 16th February 2025, the infamous Finsbury Park festival, Wireless announced it is coming back this summer to celebrate its 20th birthday with a major bang.

Over the past 20 years, Wireless has showcased a wide range of artists including Skepta, J Cole, Uncle Waffles, Wizkid and many more. The annual 3 day festival attracts over 50,000 people per day and last year’s headliners were Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, Doja Cat, J Hus, and Future. Every year, fans speculate who the headliner(s) will be and Wireless made their special announcement that this year, the Canadian international superstar, Drake will be headlining all three days. 

The ‘Take Care’ musician’s last time performing in London was in 2019 when he played seven nights at London’s O2 Arena as part of his Assassination Vacation tour. Drizzy’s first headlined Wireless back in 2012, and this year will be making history by becoming the first artist to ever headline every day of the festival with three different bespoke set lists. Wireless will commence on 11th July till 13th July 2025. 

The first day of Wireless will showcase the R&B side of Drake, where he will be joined on stage with Summer Walker and PARTYNEXTDOOR. Recently, Drizzy and PARTYNEXTDOOR released their joint album ‘$ome $exy $ongs 4 U’ which has already broken Apple Music records. In addition to this, the second day of Wireless will exhibit the Rap side of Drake, where he will be joined by the “mandem”. Fans online have been wondering who the “mandem” are and whether they are UK artists like Dave, Central Cee, Skepta and etc. To conclude Drizzy’s 3 day wireless headline, Drake will display his dancehall influences, where he will be joined by international megastars Burna Boy and Vybz Kartel. This will be Vybz Kartel first time performing in London since his prison release last summer, as a result fans are very excited to witness this iconic performance. The full line-up is still yet to be revealed however fans are ecstatic about the lineup soo far. 

The general sale tickets will go live on the 19th February 2025 at 12pm on Wireless. If you want first dibs, the presale tickets will go live on 18th February 2025 at 12pm. Tickets prices are starting at £113 for day tickets, and rising to £305.50 for the weekend ticket. The price of VIP tickets is still to be announced. Day tickets are available alongside two and three-day passes.
