Tuesday 8th April 2025 was a huge day for many Arsenal fans.
Last night left many fans heart broken, overwhelmed, disappointed, excited and so much more all because of the champions league quarter finals. It was Arsenal vs Real Madrid and lets just say that both teams came on the pitch giving it all they had and so much more.
However the score was 3-0 to Arsenal with two outstanding kicks from the one and only England / Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice. Declan Rice scored his first goal just before the hour mark with a free kick to make the score 1-0. However Declan said one was not enough and took another free kick during the 70th minute to make it 2-0.
It wasn’t only Declan that made sure he got the ball in the net, another outstanding Arsenal player that made sure the ball went in was Mikel Merino. Mikel Merino is a center midfielder and plays for both Arsenal and Spain. He scored his outstanding goal just minutes later to make the finishing score 3-0.
Could this be Arsenal’s way of telling everyone that they are coming for the trophy?
Or will it go to another football club?
We will have to see in their next match against Brentford on Saturday 12th April 2025 at 17:30 pm.
