Taking Amapiano to international heights, the South African DJ and Record Producer ‘DJ Maphorisa’  touched down in the UK to perform for the events company ‘Status 100’ who have previously hosted events involving Davido, Tion Wayne, Burna Boy, DBN Gogo and many more! 

The hitmaker star performed in London at Studio 338 on the 25th April, followed by a show in Birmingham on the 26th of April at CAVE.

Fans enjoyed a high energy show embracing all the best sounds of South African music. DJ Maphorisa, also known as Madumane is a true global legend and pioneer of Amapiano. His songs are infused with an infectious blend of Jazz, Soulful vocals and Deep House. 

The show featured some of his biggest hits and collaborations including ‘Ba Straata’, ‘Izolo’ and of course the popular dance hit “Bula Nthweo”.

The night was a complete success and we look forward to hearing more from DJ Maphorisa and the Amapiano scene that is rapidly growing in the UK.
