Clamping down on anti-social behavior

News

February 2, 2023

A number of powers have been handed to Brent enforcement and Police officers that will help to tackle anti-social behavior in the borough’s parks, cemeteries, graveyards, streets, and outside of Wembley Stadium.

The decision made by the council late last year took into account extensive feedback from residents, businesses, and those that work in Brent.

Councillor Harbi Farah, Cabinet Member for Safer Communities and Public Protection, said: “Thank you to all of the residents who gave us feedback on the types of anti-social behavior you face.

“The feedback was loud and clear about how anti-social behavior affects residents. This council will not hesitate to protect the law-abiding majority from an anti-social few.”
