The Chris Brown x Quavo beef escalates

This past weekend, Chris Brown made scornful remarks about an alleged hook-up with Saweetie and the 2022 shooting death of Takeoff in “Weakest Link”, a new diss track aimed at Quavo.

Breezy did not hold back on the song. Brown savagely raps “R.I.P. Takeoff, he the only real one, I got true respect. Crazy how when he died, everybody really wished it was you instead.”

The track is a response to Quavo’s recent song, “Tender”, in which he calls out Brown’s history of domestic abuse.

The title of the song is a reference to what the “Loyal” rapper called Quavo’s status in the rap group Migos.

No love lost

On the track, CB claimed that he had relations with the “My Type” rapper — born Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper — when she was in a relationship with Quavo.

Brown rapped, “You f—-d my ex-h–, that’s cool, I don’t give no f–k, lil’ n–a (Still a b—h) / ‘Cause I f—-d your ex when you were still with her, b—h, I’m up, lil’ n–a (I’m up) / They say revenge is sweet (Revenge is sweet), now think about that s–t / Don’t let that line go over your head, I might just sing about that s–t,”.

Although Brown did not directly say Saweetie’s name, he used the word “sweet” before he rapped that the line shouldn’t go “over your head.”

Quavo and Brown have a history of consistently competing for ladies. This year, Chris rapped on his song “Freak” about Quavo hooking up with his ex Karrueche Tran and Quavo responded by bringing up Brown’s violence against women.

Fans anxiously await Quavo’s next move.
