Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Reactions:
The first reactions to Black Panther Wakanda Forever: have rolled in. This is one of the most highly anticipated Marvel films following the success of of 2018 Black Panther which is thought to be one of the greatest MCU films to date. Which sought the studio break in to Oscar categories with a Best Picture nomination.
The sequel has had the challenging task of timing after the death of Chadwick Boseman, who died of cancer in 2020.
Consequently, there was a high amount of speculation surrounding the status of the sequel. Director Ryan Coogler, who co-wrote the film with Joe Robert Cole, pushed ahead with the project in honour of the actor.
According to those who watched the premiere screening of Black Panther 2 it appears the film does Boseman proud.
Reviewers praised the performances of Letita Wright, Angela Bassett and Tenoch Huerta, who will play the film villain, Namor.
