Grammy Award winning artist, Black Coffee has officially sold out both his exciting summer events in London. Black Coffee is set to perform on 31st July and 1st August 2025 and has made history by becoming the first DJ to headline at the Old Royal Naval College. ‘Black Coffee on the Thames’ will be hosted by Labyrinth Events and was sold out within 2 hours. The “Turn Me On” producer is no stranger to selling out venues and making history, such as his event at the Madison Square Gardens in October 2023 becoming the first South African to do this.

The Afro House DJ and producer began his career in 1994 and since then has released nine studio albums, with his seventh album “Subconsciously”, winning a Grammy Award for Best Dance/ Electronic Album. As a result, Black Coffee once again made history by becoming the first African to win this, inspiring many other African musicians. The South African superstar has worked with many artists from all over the world including Pharrell Williams, Usher, Drake, Sabrina Claudio and many others.

Black Coffee has released a new song which is an Afro House remix of Billie Eilish’s song ‘Chihiro’. Billie Eilish’s original song currently has over 111 million views on YouTube and over 644 million listens on Spotify; it will be amazing to see how well this remix also does in the charts. The Black Coffee X Billie Eilish’s music video shows a care-free woman roller-skating and dancing throughout a city. The music video projects a liberating, calming, tranquil vibe. 2025 will be an exciting year for Afro House and Black Coffee, and we at the Beat London cannot wait to see everything unfold.
