Beyoncé has announced the name for her upcoming eighth studio album. 

The name, Cowboy Carter, cements the country theme of the album that Bey has established through the two singles she’s released this year, “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em”. 

Over a month after its release, “Texas Hold ‘Em” is still holding up on the Billboard charts. 

It currently sits at fifth on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, third on the Billboard Global 200 chart, and first on the Hot Country Songs chart. 

It’s no surprise that Bey’s music continues to stand strong no matter what genre she’s tapping into.
