Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy revealed to have secret child from a mediterranean romance holiday. Yolanda Aguera, 41, the mother of Benjamin Mendy’s daughter met Mendy in 2019 at a party which then lead too the two meeting up in the W hotel in Barcelona. It has been revealed that Mendy has a three year old daughter who is reportedly the spitting image of her father and has only met her once. Ms Aguera has said “He hasn’t got any kind of meaningful relationship with her (their daughter) just now and has only seen her once when we flew to Manchester and visited him at his home in Cheshire”.

Yolanda is being paid £350 a month for her up keep. He did not dispute paternity of the child but pays just a fraction of the weekly four-figure sum Ms Aguera is said to have demanded. Yolanda goes on to say “The money Ben is paying will help but I’m worried about how I’m going to make ends meet and ensure our daughter doesn’t want for anything”. She lives with her three year old in a small one bedroom apartment in a Barcelona suburb.

The footballer is facing questions about his financial situation as his £90,000-a-week contract with Manchester City is said to be ending in June, potentially placing his ability to pay for the mortgage on his £4.8million Cheshire home. Mendy has been suspended without pay from the football club since sex offence accusations were levelled at him in September 2021 and it has recently been revealed that he faces a retrial for two of the allegations.
