It’s that time again, where Roc Nation host the Superbowl half time show performers, and this year was none other than Latin superstar Bad Bunny! Real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio took to the stage and perfumed the majority of his Album of the Year award winning album, “Debí Tirar Más Fotos“.

The theme of the show stopping event highlighted Latin culture, political views against Puerto Rico’s power systems, colonialism, the merging of Latin American countries as “American” and more. I would like to give an honourable shout out to the dancers in the performance. They absolutely devoured every bit of choreography!
A half time performance wouldn’t be without its special guests. Lady Gaga made a magical appearance performing a Salsa version of #1 hit “Die With A Smile”, and Ricky Martin joined the stage performing a rendition of “Lo que le pasó a Hawaii”, a song about the dangers of gentrification and the cultural loss Puerto Rico is currently experiencing.
Bad Bunny ended with a bang, culminating the set with his smash hit DtMF – the title track of his album, translating to “I should have taken more photos”. All in all, it was a powerful performance, a statement, and full of pride! Check out the setlist below.
