On 28th April our favourite girl also known as Darkoo performed her first ever headlined show in front of a sold out crowd.

Darkoo is 23 years old and was born in Yaba Ikeja Nigeria . She moved to the United Kingdom when she was seven years old and  grew up in south london. 

Darkoo first big break in her career was in 2019 when she released gangsta featuring One Acen. However she did not leave it there especially during 2024. 2024 has to be one of Darkoo’s biggest years because she has released hit after hit and of course catchy Tik Tok dances to go along with it. Songs such as Favourite girl ft Des dior, City girl ft Rema, Right now ft Davido and of course  Focus on me (All the sexy girls in the club). 

No matter how many bangers Darkoo has got she has also been in some outstanding features as well such as Body remix by Tion Wayne and Russ Millions.

Nevertheless lets not forget about all of the over catchy songs Darkoo has presented us with over the years. We have received songs like Pick up, Cinderella, She likes and  most importantly Slow down. Wants again she never left her supporter disappointed.

Her first headline concert that she performed in camden was out of this world. Not only did she have a saxophone player perform but she also had amapiano playing as well to get the crowd into a partying mood. She started her performance with dancers behind a curtain with red lights to give the performance a dramatic effect. To top it off Darkoo also had amazing dancers throughout the whole of her show and of course brought out One Acen and performed Gangsta to a energetic crowd.

Darkoo is the type of artist that will make the song worth the long wait. Her next song that she has been teasing us with Like Dat is going to be another song that will break the summer charts this year and all of us at the beat 103.6 can not wait.
