The Canary Islands of Tenerife is about to be taken over new festival, Afrotronic in October! The festival has a stellar line up of artists and DJ’s playing the hottest Afro House, Amapiano and Afro Tech sounds,
There will be stages that take over beach clubs, poolsides terrace, amphitheaters and more on the scenic island backdrop. Popular collectives supporting and curating the event are Kunye Records, Balcony Mix Africa and Everyday People.

Headlining the three day event will be Haitian DJ and Producer, Francis Mercier. He is known for his soulful afro house blend reaching Beatport Top 10 and being played on radio stations including BBC Radio 1 and SiriusXM. He has 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with his track Sauti garnering over 58 million streams and counting.

South African DJ/Producer duo Major League Djz share the bill with their blend of amapiano, kwaito, house and deep bass sonics. US born twins Bandile and Banele Mbere were raised in South Africa and are famed for their live dj sets. They have built a core community, and signed a recoding deal with Atlantic Records. They were the first amapiano act to play at Tomorrowland in Belgium, 2023.

Shimza, real name Ashley Raphala, is known for his African rhythms in his Afro House sets. He has collaborated with Aloe Blacc on ‘Darling’, and more recently ‘Fire Fire’ with AR/CO, accumulating 16 million streams. Shimza owns the record label Kunye Records.
Other acts on the bill include Culoe De Song, Djmammin, Kitty Amor, Honeyluv, Jael, Kilimanjaro and so much more to give you the vibes across the three days.
