The catchy chorus sung by Brent Faiyaz notes, “Nothing can tear us apart/You’ve got a piece of my heart”. Fans have been anticipating this song following recent snippets teased across Wizkid’s social media.
It’s only been two days since the release of the music video for “Piece of My Heart” and it has already gathered 1.8 million views on YouTube. The video radiates flashy, fun and confident energy and serves as a great reminder of who Wizkid is. Within the music video, the duo is spotted in a mansion, enjoying life on a private jet and flexing in Paris. Earlier this month, Wizkid and Brent Faiyaz were spotted in Paris for the Business of Fashion’s BoF500 Gala where Wizkid performed some of his many hits like “Ojuelegba” and “Essence.”
“Piece of My Heart” has given fans a small taster of what to expect from Wizkid’s sixth studio album ‘Morayo’, which is set for release on the 22 November 2024.
