The nominations for this years Oscars have been officially announced, and there were some newcomer nominees including British Actress, Emily Blunt and Irish Actor Cillian Murphy.
Murphy and Blunt both received nominations for their efforts in the movie Oppenheimer with best Actor and best supporting actress respectively. The Movie has received 11 more nominations at this years Oscars.
This years Oscars also involves the first ever Native American nominee in Lily Gladstone who has been nominated for best leading actress for her role in Killers of the Flower Moon as Mollie Burkhart. Killers of the Flower Moon has 9 other nominations also.
Special mention to Danielle Brooks who was nominated for best supporting actress for her role as Sofia in The Color Purple.
The Show is hosted by Jimmy Kimmel this year and will take place in the Dolby Theatre at Ovation in Hollywood
