Spread Love It's The Brooklyn Way

Brooklyn honours the late ‘Biggie Smalls.  Bed Stuy native Christopher Wallace has always repped his home city numerous times throughout his career. 20 years ago we lost one of the most important pioneers of 90s hip-hop. On August 2nd the ceremony was held at the once named Crispus Attucks Playground, now named Christopher ‘Biggie’ Wallace Courts. In attendance was the late rappers daughter, son and mother.

‘Cornegy lived in the same building as Biggie and made a promise to the rapper's mother, Voletta Wallace, that he'd honour her son's legacy’

'Long before fame came, the kids in Bed-Stuy first called Christopher Wallace "Biggie" due to his size on the same basketball courts named today in his honour today'
