Skepta Brings Out ASAP Rocky For Charity Gig
From the UK to the US, Skepta and A$AP Rocky are no strangers linking up on a track. But now the musical pair have teamed up once again all in the name of charity.
Performing at a charity gig in Islington Assembly Hall yesterday (Tuesday 4th April) the Mercury prize winner graced the stage to perform their collaborative song 'Put That On My Set' before bringing out the ASAP Mob frontman himself.
Skepta also brought on stage his brother and fellow BBK member JME and Shorty with the concert raising £30,000 in total from the night.
Actor Idris Elba also opened up for the star and spoke out about the government cuts to housing allowances for 18-21 year-olds saying "The Government is trying to take away housing allowances from 18-21-year-olds ... Seriously man. No one should be homeless it's f****** bullshit."
Tickets were priced at £40, but free tickets were given to some people who have previously been helped by Shelter.
