Jeremy Meeks Was In The UK!...(But Only For A Minute)

'Prison Bae' Jeremy Meeks, the model whose mugshot went viral, was deported from London just hours after arriving for several photoshoots.

The 32-year-old was set to spend a week in the capital where he was due to shoot a series of magazine covers before reportedly being turned away at the airport upon arrival.

Jeremy, who is now signed to modelling agency White Cross Management in America, first shot to fame in 2014 when police posted his mugshot online - later gaining him the title as the “hottest convict ever" after the image went viral.

The father-of-two has since gone on to model in New York Fashion Week, appearing on Phillip Plein's runway show in February.

According to the Standard, Jeremy's manager, Jim Jordan insisted that the model was carrying all the correct paperwork and a letter from his parole officer, before being detained by UK border officials on arrival to Heathrow yesterday morning.

Jordan told the Mail Online: “We went into the UK and we went through immigration and they detained Jeremy.

"He wasn’t arrested but they deported him out of the country."

"They wouldn’t let him come into the country. He is really upset. He was police-escorted onto the plane.”

The incident is reported to be a 'Mix up' according to Meeks who told the DailyMail.com that the Border Police were just 'doing their job'.

When asked if he'd planned to travel again, Meeks answered, "Oh of course [I'll come back from this]".
