Could Dizzee Rascal & Wiley Be Performing TOGETHER At FSVL?
This is the union that would take the music scene by storm!
After reigniting their fued last year with rumours of Wiley being partly to blame for Dizzee's 2002 stabbing, we thought the Grime Gods would never see eye-to-eye again let alone share a stage together.
But after the recent announcement of the We Are FSTVL line-up for this year, it seems that our musical dreams may be coming true after all!
Returning for it's fifth consecutive year, We Are FSTVL first announced that Wiley along with Carl Cox, Armand Van Helden, Basement Jazz, Dixon, Duke Dumont, Jamie Jones, Kurupt FM, MK, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers and Loco Dice would be performing. the first announcement was then followed up a second round of performers including Giggs, Maya Jane Coles, David Rodigan, Sigma, Katy B, Mistajam, Tchami, Chris Lorenzo, Danny Howard, Disciples, S.K.T., Tough Love, The Dreem Teem, and Tom Zanetti & K.O. Kane - AND Dizzee Rascal!
In June 2016, Wiley caused a media frenzy when he revealed to TimeOut that it was his fault that Dizzee Rascal was stabbed in Ayia Napa in 2002 due to some Island locals retaliating to an attack from Wiley the previous day. Dizzee Rascal hit back soon after, that the claims were false and a publicity stunt before culture clash.
Could Wiley and Dizzee patch things up in time for some on-stage magic? We'll have to see at We Are FSTVL from May 26th-28th at Upminster. Tickets and more info are available HERE.
